I can meet you at the front door, if you don't mind getting your feet wet. Otherwise... I don't know how to explain my bedroom to you, since I assume you'll be, ah. Teleporting?

I most certainly will be teleporting, given the weather. I can Apparate to your front door, if that makes things easier?

And what is there to explain about your bedroom, might I ask?

[ He bursts out laughing, and it takes a couple seconds for him to reply: ]

I meant, if you teleported into my bedroom, your feet would stay dry! The bedrooms are upstairs, you see. But I'm not sure how to describe it to you in a way where you won't end up in Huaisang's room, or in-between rooms or anything else dangerous like that.

Ah! That does make a great deal of sense. I would hate to teleport into your wall or your refrigerator, after all.

[And sure enough, five minutes later, Johnny may hear a knock at the front door.]

[ he's going to throw it open with a grin! don't mind them basically walking through a very large puddle ]

Albus! So glad you made it.

[He grins in return, ignoring the water as he smiles cheerfully at Johnny's arrival.]

Not at all. I'm happy to be of help. After all, I'd hate for you to starve from lack of uncontaminated food.

[ He's drawing Albus into a brief hug before letting go with a rueful huff. ]

I'd be okay. Vampire. But it's weighing on my Dom--emotionally as well. He's very fond of his house.

[ With good reason. Even waterlogged, it's clearly a beautiful place. ]

[Albus accepts and returns the hug easily, still smiling as they part.]

I don't blame him. Water damage is difficult, especially when the water never quite seems to fade away. Perhaps I can help with some of that as well.

Not at all. But first, show me to your refrigerator -- I'd best keep your Dominant from starving, first and foremost.

[Albus follows him into the kitchen, immediately looking over the food. Some of it is...not looking well, and he prods one item with his wand.]

How long has the refrigerator been out for?

[ He spreads his hands in a helpless shrug. ]

I assume it probably went out not long after the flooding reached the kitchen.

[Hmm. He looks over the food, deciding what looks salvageable before moving over to the refrigerator itself.

It was easy enough to start focusing on the refrigerator as if it were an oversized box. The first thing he does is cast a spell on it to prevent more water from invading it. A shimmer of magic seems to settle it over, wrapping over the surface of it like a light invisible shield before vanishing.]

[ Johnny's going to perch himself up on a countertop to watch. This is fascinating~. ]

[Albus glances at Johnny, smiling as the magic settles.]

First thing is making sure no more water gets inside, so I've put a spell on it to keep it sealed. Next is to make it cold once more.

[Which he does, casting another spell that seems to freeze the air before settling on the inside of the refrigerator.]

Now I really want to stick my hand inside it. But my feet are already wet enough.

[He chuckles brightly at that.]

If these spells hold up, you'll have plenty of time to feel it for yourself. They should remain in place for quite a long time.

Now let me see if I can salvage any of this food you have.
