[Gellert is putting his fairy power to the test! He has lured some adorable - and friendly - deer into a secluded spot. They are currently munching on all the treats he gathered earlier.]
Come over here, Albus! [He flaps his wings excitedly and one of the does wags her tail.]
Do you like them? They're not magical, but their fur is soft.
[Albus' face lights up, his expression clearly one of delight when he sees the deer gathered. He walks over to Gellert cautiously, careful not to startle the creatures, before leaning in to press a lingering kiss to his lover's mouth.]
[Soft noses prod at Albus's pockets, looking for more treats! Gellert laughs and embraces one of the does. That is, until his lover gives him a kiss! Shivering, flushed, he beams brightly, releasing the deer to pull his Albus into his arms.]
[Albus lets himself be pulled in Gellert's arms, grinning wildly at him as he returns the embrace.]
So they have! How very kind of you to invite them.
[Turning to glance at the deer, who are now looking at them curiously. He holds out one hand to them, and one deer shuffles forward, sniffing at him inquisitively.]
[Albus smiles, wrapping Gellert all the more tightly in his arms, closing his eyes at the feel of his kiss. Leaning his face into the top of his lover's head, he answers:]
I love you, too, Gellert. Now and always. No matter what other monsters may appear here, this place will have been worth it to have you with me again like this.
[And then, looking down at the (now very curious!) deer, he adds:] And this is a perfect birthday present.
[He could melt. Gellert has been drawn to shiny things since his transformation, however Albus is the shiniest of his possessions. He will tell no one of him and continue to hold him close.]
[He is able to steady himself once he is surrounded by Albus's scent. Hearing the other man breathing and feeling the thump of his heart help settle him further.]
If you worry over mine, I worry over yours.
[A small smile graces his lips.]
Come this way... [He tugs on Albus's hand and walks slowly to a lovely clearing that has the perfect view of the sky. The deer do follow them, tails wagging.]
[Albus allows himself to be led away, fingers entwined with Gellert's the whole way. When they arrive in the clearing, Albus settles on a particularly clear part of the grass, stretching his legs in front of him.
Tugging Gellert towards him, he says:] Curl up against me for a bit, love.
[He is quick to join him - almost before he is invited - curling up against Albus stubbornly. His wings are a bit of a nuisance, but he makes do, tucking them just so and pressing his lips to his lover's cheek.]
Are you cold?
[His arms are ready to hold Albus, his hand rubbing his chest.]
No. Not so long as I have you curled against me so nicely.
[He smiles softly at the kiss, winding his fingers in his lovers hair. The deer follow them curiously, nosing at the grass and watching the pair of them with intrigued eyes.]
That would be nice. We could all have a relaxing rest here.
