Well, I suppose that depends. Do you mean any plants at all, or all plants in general?

I know of some that most certainly do, but they are magical species, as opposed to, say, common crabgrass.

That's cool, there are plants in my world that are magic but they're not, like, obviously magic? I mean they're just normal plants everyone knows about but magicians can access magical properties in them

I know a spell to pull some life force out of a tree if you're like really hurt and need something to keep you going for awhile and you don't have access to better first aid or healing magic

The tree recovers, a tree has a LOT more life than a human

Ah, that is very intriguing indeed! I admit, I find such magic fascinating, since I can think of no direct comparisons in my own world.

It does make a deal of sense, though. Forests can grow to the age of ancients, and we are not nearly so gifted in logevity.

Exactly. I've never used it but it's good to know if you're ever in an emergency. I could probably change it to give the life force to someone else too

Very useful indeed, then. There are always so many trees in the world, and so many occasions where one might need healing most desperately as well.
