Dumbledore Permissions Post
This is a permissions post for Fantastic Beasts-era Albus Dumbledore.
If you do not want to interact with him, period:
Just comment here and he won't interact with your characters or posts. I know some players don't want to deal with anything Harry Potter-related in light of JKR's politics, and I won't have him reach out to anyone who does not want him to interact.
(Side note: I hate JKR and her TERF politics, and have not paid a cent towards her/her works since she revealed her political stances. I began RPing this character before she went mask-off and do not support anything she says, and I will not financially support anything she says/does in the future.)
If you would like to opt-out of his abilities:
Albus' powers are:
1) General Harry Potter magic of all varieties. This includes both wandless and non-verbal magic, as well as traditional spells.
2) Legilimency: essentially, this means that he can read the minds of anyone whose eyes he can see. The only way to fight it is to have the ability of Occlumency, or some other magic/ability that deters mind-readers. He will probably not abuse this ability unless he thinks you are up to something dark or harmful.
Please let me know if you would like Dumbledore to not use magic or mind-reading on your characters. He is generally not malicious, so he would be unlikely to do either with ill intent unless your character was causing harm/trouble, but I understand not wanting your character's thoughts being messed with.
